1. Dalma Wildlife Sanctuary-

The oldest sanctuary The Dalma Wildlife Sanctuary located on the outskirts of Jamshedpur. Inside, there are so many beautiful places where visitors can watch wild animals such as lions, tigers, monkeys, and deer. There is a small temple in the sanctuary that attracts hundreds of devotees of Lord Shiva, who come for blessings.

2. Dimna Lake-

The Dimna Lake is a beautiful place to visit for its glorious green surroundings. Many locals and tourists especially visit here to watch the sunset – a beautiful sight to behold in this serene environment.

The lake is the best place for picnics, where you can laze about, relax and enjoy the peace and enjoy with natural beauty that has to offer. Avoid visiting Dimna Lake during the monsoon.

3. Dalma Hills-

The Dalma Hills attracts worldwide tourists with a beautiful panoramic view of the mountains and its fresh, pure air that always glorify from hectic city atmospheres. It is made with greenery, the hills are ideal for trekking and a spot of adventurous climbing.

Climbing the hill is quite easy – it is also easily accessible by road. Best to carry your own refreshments and water, as there are no shops near the hill area.

4. Jayanti Sarovar-

Jayanti Sarovar is one of the popular tourist places in Jamshedpur. The lake beautify with illuminated fountain that lights up in the evenings. Surrounding of the Lake consist of a small garden that has some wonderful plants and colorful flowers.

Visit the lake during winter to watch the migratory birds. In addition to this, the Jayanti Sarovar is a park that is special for kids with swings, slides and other rides.

5. Bhuvaneshwari Temple-

A beautiful religious site with a strong and powerful history developed for devotees of Maa Bhuvaneshwari. If we talk about the internal structure  Bhuvaneshwari Temple complex, there is a six-foot-high sanctum. The temple was made of the South Indian architectural style.

In each year, thousands of devotees get the blessings of Maa Bhuvaneshwari. Special prayers are arranged on Tuesday, Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. Plan to visit the temple in the months of October to November for the annual Sharad Navratri Utsav.

6. The Parsi Fire Temple-

Jubilee Park is situated near to the Parsi Fire Temple that is an important landmark for the Parsi community in Jamshedpur. The temple structure establishes with a beautiful garden in which there are a variety of flowers and seasonal plants.

But you must be aware of that entry inside the temple is restricted to Parsis only. You can take photos in the garden but the photography of the Parsi Fire Temple is not allowed.

7. Sakchi Masjid-

A beautiful mosque situated in the center of the city, the Sakchi Masjid is consist of beautiful structure rich with Mughal art. The masjid is available for all to witness its beauty. But during prayer times, only Muslim devotees can enter the mosque. When the lights are switched on at night, the Sakchi Masjid looks so much grand.

8. St. Mary’s Church-

One of the most beautiful churches in Jamshedpur, St. Mary’s Church is a beautiful structure but its simplicity defines a peaceful humility as a place of worship.

The church also posses some interesting art and paintings. Church entry is permitted to everyone but avoid clicking pictures of the altar during mass. Holy masses are arranged here every day.

9. Tata Zoological Park-

Children are fond of the Tata Zoological Park in Jamshedpur. At the zoo, you will get to find tigers, leopards, snakes, and more. The zoological park also consists of plant species in their premises.

You can guided the person for a tour of the zoo at the office desk. It must be known that the zoo is closed on Mondays and carrying your camera inside the zoo has a fee.

Entry fee: Adults Rs 30; Kids Rs. 20.


10. Bhatia Park-

Bhatia Park is located on the banks of the Subarnarekha River. Inside the park, you will fond of beautiful flowers and plants. The park is basically possess beauty for a leisurely walkabout and many locals come here every evening.

Timings: 5 am to 9 pm
